Lav Luv may be the newly-crowned ‘Jokes comedian but he isn’t new to
comedy. Upon returning from service in the U.S. Armed Forces, Lav Luv knew
that he wanted to fully commit to pursuing his life-long dream of being a
comedian. After a couple open-mic nights at the Uptown Comedy Corner, Lav
Luv soon found himself with appearances on Showtime at the Apollo,
BET’s Comic View and a member on the popular radio show, DJ
Chip in The Mornings, in Columbus, Georgia. Lav Luv has opened
up for the Isley Brothers, the Four Tops, the Temptations and Ashanti. He
has toured with major comedians like Chris Tucker and Jamie Foxx.
The half-hour special, based on Lav Luv’s take on love, music and the
