Loosely based on the lives of executive producers
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, All of Us
is a heart-warming
comedy about a devoted father's struggle to balance work, romance and his
endearing son and ex-wife.
Duane Martin plays Robert James,
an entertainment reporter for a local Los
Angeles television
station whose best friend is also his publicist, the three-time divorced Dirk
Black (Tony Rock).
On the verge of finalizing his divorce from the somewhat self-absorbed Neesee (LisaRaye), the mother of their five-year-old son, Bobby, Jr., he falls madly in love with Tia (Elise Neal), a funny, clever kindergarten teacher.
With his first wife still in the picture, Robert must sustain the happiness in his current relationship, while raising his child as a divorced parent.
