Grammy Award-winning rapper Eve plays Shelly, a hip, young fashion designer trying to navigate her way through love and romance while not losing focus on her career. As part owner of DivaStyle fashion boutique, Shelly's strong and confident attitude make it difficult for her to find love as an independent woman in the 21st century.
Her two best friends are Rita (Ali Landry), a gorgeous and single former model and Janie (Natalie Desselle-Reid), an attractive woman who is very happy to be married and out of the dating scene. Rita and Janie both offer Shelly conflicting advice as she tries to find her 'Mr. Right,' while dealing with her on-again-off-again boyfriend J.T. (Jason Winston George) who is an athletic doctor.
