Can life get any worse in South Central? That's the question Joan Mosely-- an independent-minded single mother -- asks herself everyday as she struggles to make ends meet while keeping a close eye on her three children, Andre, Tasha and Deion. After losing her eldest son in a gang-related shooting and her job, Joan, played by Tina Lifford (New Jack City, Hostage), fights every day to see another one.
South Central, the critically-acclaimed 1994 series deals with a range of social issues that ultimately result in a family's ability to overcome and survive.
